"Extraordinary art can do both - harmonize with its surroundings and represent something bigger. Hence my art is a fusion of interesting patterns & colors attached to a more than relevant topic that is also reflected in the technique."
Max Rübensal is a German sculptor, painter and concept artist.
He has been working with abstracts since 2015, blending his subjective color perception with images and symbols of pop culture which transforms their original connotations into multi-layered, multi-dimensional works. He uses a variety of special acrylic techniques, which can also be of a conceptual nature: For example, in the Rate Of Loss – series of water-based acrylic paints on oil-based spray paints, in order to depict current, man-made environmental disasters as picture-in-picture.
